About
Celebrating Geumjeongsan Mountain, newly designated as a national park in 2026, the 2026 Geumjeong Sanseong Fortress Festival will be held for three days, from Friday, October 16 to Sunday, October 18, at Geumjeong Sanseong Plaza and around Geumjeong Sanseong Fortress. It is a history, culture and arts festival centered on Geumjeong Sanseong, the leading cultural heritage of Geumjeong-gu, Busan, and Korea's largest mountain fortress, together with Geumjeongsan National Park, and it is held every year to commemorate the fortress's construction. Having grown from the Geumjeong Arts Festival first held in 1996, this year's festival showcases Geumjeong's new charms through a variety of programs …
