About
Imbued with King Jeongjo’s grand vision and deep filial devotion, Hwaseong Haenggung Palace is the largest and most formal of Korea’s many temporary royal palaces, and is counted among palaces rivaling Gyeongbokgung in beauty. Suwon’s signature night-time program, the 2026 Hwaseong Haenggung Night Opening ‘Dalbit Hwadam’ (“Flower Tales under the Moonlight”), creates a night that is both dazzling and serene, with flower installations and enchanting light displays. As you stroll along softly lit paths of quietly blooming flowers, you’ll feel carried back in time to the atmosphere, nature and spirit of the Joseon Dynasty.
