The 15th Gyeongsan Jujube Festival & Agricultural Products Fair is a signature local produce festival held in Gyeongsan, the home of jujubes, which accounts for about 30% of Korea's jujube production. Once offered as tribute to the royal court, Gyeongsan jujubes are the city's signature specialty, ripened sweet under the sun. Under the theme ‘Royal Tribute Gyeongsan Jujube Gourmet Festa,’ the festival features sales of fresh jujubes and a variety of food programs using jujube products. Programs include a talk concert on poet Jang Seok-ju's ‘A Single Jujube,’ the ‘Byeolcho’ trot concert ‘Gyeongsan Jujube,’ and the ‘Teukcho’ dinner show.
