안양청년축제가 10월 10일 평촌중앙공원에서 열린다. 올해 축제는 ''청춘은 보라''라는 슬로건 아래 각자의 고유한 빛을 가진 청년들이 안양의 색 ‘보라’ 안에서 어우러져, 안양의 오늘을 가장 아름다운 청춘으로 물들이는 축제라는 의미를 담고 있다. 슬로건의 '보라'는 열정의 '빨강'과 쉼의 '파랑'이 만난 청춘의 색이자, 서로의 다채로운 청춘을 함께 보고 나누자는 의미이다. 청년의 문화적 감수성을 반영한 다양한 전시·홍보·체험부스 프로그램 운영 및 안양 지역 청년 예술가 공연, 축하공연, 청년상 시상 등 다양한 프로그램으로 꾸려질 예정이다.
