전주국제그림책도서전(JIPF)은 글로벌 콘텐츠로 부상한 그림책을 통해 전 세계와 소통하는 대한민국 대표 그림책 문화 축제다. 매년 국내외 유명 작가들의 독창적인 원화를 눈앞에서 감상할 수 있는 특별한 축제로, 우리나라 그림책 작가와 더불어 매년 주빈을 초대해 해당 국가를 대표하는 세계적인 그림책 작가의 작품세계를 집중적으로 소개한다. 이번 제5회 도서전은 대만의 '지미 리아오' 작가와 대한민국 '김동성'작가가 참여하며, 2026년 10월 2일(금)부터 10월 4일(일)까지 한국소리문화의전당 전시장에서 ‘Picturing the Memories’를 주제로 펼쳐진다. 축제 기간에는 개막식을 시작으로 국내외 작가들의 도서 전시와 강연, 출판사가 참여하는 북마켓, 신진 지역작가를 육성하는 시작작가전이 열린다. 이에 더해 책을 활용한 다채로운 공연과 체험 프로그램, 콘퍼런스 등이 풍성함을 더한다. 이어서, 축제 분위기를 이어갈 그림책 원화 전시는 2026년 10월 25일(일)까지 계속된다.
