About

The Chiaksan Sweet Potato Festival is an autumn festival that showcases Chiaksan sweet potatoes, a local specialty of Wonju, and brings farmers and consumers together. At the farmers' direct market you can find Chiaksan sweet potatoes and other local produce, and meet the growers to share the joy of the harvest. The festival grounds offer a variety of food, and a reenactment of a Joseon-era envoy (Tongsinsa) procession gives a glimpse of traditional culture. The festival aims to expand sales and consumption of local produce, honor the value of farmers, and bring residents and visitors together. It's a great event for enjoying the autumn atmosphere with your family.
