About
"Jirisan Sopung" (Jirisan Picnic) is a Jirisan Dulle-gil trail walking event launched in 2011 to create a reflective walking culture on Jirisan Mountain. Rotating among the five cities and counties around Jirisan (Namwon-si, Hamyang-gun, Sancheong-gun, Hadong-gun and Gurye-gun), it is a chance to encounter Jirisan's nature, local culture and people through walking. The 2026 event is held in Sancheong on a roughly 12 km course: starting from Sancheong-gun Residents' Park, passing Seonnyeotang and Hanbat Village, stopping for lunch in Sancheong-eup, and returning via Hwanajeong Pavilion to the park. Activities and events are set up along the course, and after the walk, a picnic market and cult…
