훈민정음 반포 제580돌을 맞아 2026년 10월 9일부터 10일까지 세종대왕릉 일원에서 「2026 한글날 문화행사」가 개최된다. 이번 행사는 세종대왕의 업적과 한글의 가치를 알리고 한글날의 의미를 되새기기 위해 마련된 문화 행사이다. 어린이와 가족 단위 방문객을 대상으로 '캐치! 티니핑' 특별공연과 '흔한남매' 소통공연을 비롯해 한글을 주제로 한 다양한 체험 및 전시 프로그램이 운영된다. 또한 세종대왕릉 곳곳에서는 다양한 문화예술 공연을 선보이는 '쉼터 작은 음악회'가 진해오딘다. 이와 함께 한글과 세종대왕을 주제로 한 체험 프로그램을 통해 한글의 역사와 가치를 접할 수 있는 프로그램이 마련된다. 세종대왕릉의 역사·문화적 공간을 활용해 공연과 체험, 전시 등 다양한 프로그램을 운영하는 행사로, 한글날을 맞아 세종대왕과 한글의 의미를 문화적으로 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 행사이다.
