2026 유성독서대전은 대전광역시 유성구에서 개최되는 지역 대표 독서 문화 축제로, 야외에서 책과 문화, 그리고 휴식을 함께 즐길 수 있도록 기획된 행사이다. 바쁜 일상에서 잠시 벗어나 책을 매개로 이웃과 소통하며 몸과 마음을 치유하는 특별한 시간을 제공하기 위해 마련되었다. 가족, 친구, 연인 등 다양한 연령층의 방문객이 축제장을 찾아 뜻깊은 여가를 보낼 수 있도록 다채로운 문화 프로그램으로 구성되어 있다. 특히 탁 트인 야외 공간에 자연과 어우러진 대규모 독서 구역이 조성되어 있으며, 남녀노소 누구나 자유롭게 참여할 수 있는 문학 체험 부스와 다목적 관련 전시가 운영된다. 이외에도 유명 작가와의 만남, 북 토크 콘서트, 독서 감상 행사, 지역 서점 및 출판사가 참여하는 북마켓 등 책을 주제로 한 풍성한 부대행사가 함께 진행된다. 2026 유성독서대전은 단순한 책 읽기를 넘어 시민들이 일상 속에서 독서의 즐거움을 재발견하고, 지역 사회의 건강한 독서 생태계를 조성하는 데 기여하는 핵심적인 문화 교류의 장이다.
