About

Dongmyeong Coffee Walk is a coffee culture festival held around Dongmyeong-dong in Dong-gu, Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City. Started in 2021, it marks its 6th edition in 2026, with local cafés and local brands taking part so visitors can enjoy coffee, desserts and cultural programs together. Going beyond a simple tasting event, it combines performances, hands-on activities, exhibitions and markets centered on coffee, aiming to offer a cultural trip in the city. The main programs are 'Just Award' (coffee tasting and voting for your favorite), 'No Run Just Walk' (café tours combined with visits to local landmarks), 'Dongmyeong Marché' (with local merchants and artists), 'Coffee Walk' (find your own taste in coffee through themed content), 'Sound Walk' (walking along the stories of Dongmyeong-dong) and 'Brand Walk' (storytelling and special exhibitions by local brands). …
