양강섬예술축제는 음악을 통해 서로 다른 세대가 함께 공감하고 즐길 수 있는 문화예술축제로 특정 세대에 한정된 공연을 넘어 각 시대를 대표하는 음악과 아티스트를 한자리에서 만나며 세대별 감성과 추억을 함께 나눌 수 있는 무대를 선보인다. 감성적인 록부터 재즈, 레트로 대중음악까지 다양한 장르의 음악을 통해 어린 세대부터 중장년층까지 누구나 편안하게 축제를 즐길 수 있도록 구성했으며 지역 주민과 관광객이 함께 어울리고 참여할 수 있는 열린 축제로 마련하여 공연을 즐기는 것을 넘어 서로의 이야기를 나누고 세대 간 공감대를 형성하는 자리로 만들고자 한다. 아름다운 양강섬을 배경으로 음악과 사람이 어우러지는 특별한 시간을 선사하며 양평군의 문화적 매력을 널리 알리고 지역 공동체가 함께 즐기는 문화예술축제를 추진하고자 한다.
