10월의 어느 신비로운 밤, 잠들지 않는 담양으로 시간을 거슬러 아주 특별한 손님들이 찾아온다. 담양 국가유산 야행은 관방제림과 객사리 석당간, 남산리 오층석탑을 중심으로 담양이 낳은 역사문화적 인물들의 서사를 풀어낸다. 관방제림을 쌓은 성부사 이야기를 사랑과 웃음으로 전달하는 저잣거리 판극, 담양이 낳은 조선의 국창 이날치로 심장을 울리는 마당창극, 석당간 아래 밤이야기와 피아노 선율이 흐르는 토크콘서트, 담양 연동사에서 도술을 연마한 전우치 미션을 수행하는 가족놀이와 퍼포먼스까지, 역동적이 스토리텔링이 현장을 가득 채운다. 여기에 담양의 싱어송라이터 〈하얀나비〉 김정호 소리의 비밀과 성이성, 전천상의 공통점을 관조하는 깊이 있는 인문학 강연이 더해진다. 고요한 담양의 밤과 은은하게 펼쳐진 잔디 위로 겹겹이 놓인 담양 역사문화. 10월의 어느 신비로운 밤, 담양만의 특별한 정취를 만나볼 수 있다.
