About
The 2026 Ulsan Outdoor Library 'Sopung' is an outdoor reading event where you can read while gazing out at the sea. Hosted by Ulsan Metropolitan City, it takes place around Seuldo Art on Seuldo Island in Bangeo-dong, Dong-gu, Ulsan. The name 'Sopung' (Korean for “picnic”) plays on the theme 'Seul-dok,' meaning “wise reading on Seuldo.” It runs from September 19 to October 18, 2026, every Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., for a total of 10 sessions. The program includes busking, book talks, DJ sets, pan flute performances, readings, a starlight docent tour and outdoor film screenings.
