북페스티벌은 독서·체험·놀이가 어우러진 천안시 도서관 대표 책 축제로, 도서관·동아리·서점·출판사 등 독서 관련 기관과 함께한다. 작가와의 만남·공연·체험부스·부대행사·야외도서관 등 온 시민이 함께 즐길 수 있는 독서문화행사로 운영한다. 이번 행사는 천안삼거리공원 선큰광장에서 운영되며 개막식과 다독자 시상식, 가족 뮤지컬 공연, 앙상블 공연이 펼쳐진다. 야외도서관에서는 가을 햇살 아래 편안하게 쉬며 책을 읽을 수 있다. 2026 천안시 올해의 책으로 선정된 '고추장 심부름'의 한소곤 작가와 '그래도 춤을 추세요'를 쓴 이서수 작가와의 만남도 함께 운영된다. 그 밖에 16개의 체험부스와 13개의 서점 및 출판사 부스에서 다양한 독서 체험활동을 경험할 수 있다. 입장은 무료이다.
