The 22nd Sanbuk Pumsil Festival has established itself as one of Yeoju's signature festivals over 22 years. This year's edition is held under the sub-theme 'Sanbuk AI Kimjang Culture Festival.' Kimjang, the tradition of making kimchi together, is a defining part of Korean food culture and a cherished custom of sharing warmth with family and neighbors. Inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2013, kimjang culture embodies a community spirit of making and sharing together.
