올해로 7회를 맞이하는 양평부추축제는 전국 최고의 부추 생산지인 양평군 양동면의 명품 부추와 양평군의 우수 농특산물을 널리 알리고, 지역 학교와 농가, 주민이 함께 만들어가는 주민주도형 축제다.특히 2026년 「부추多 양평부추축제」는 ‘맛도 많고, 즐거움도 많고, 행복도 많은 축제’를 주제로 대한민국 으뜸 양동 부추와 농민들의 정성이 담긴 신선한 농산물은 물론, 다채로운 먹거리와 체험 프로그램을 한자리에서 즐길 수 있다. 축제의 대표 먹거리인 ‘부추多 부추국밥’을 비롯해 부추떡, 부추국수, 부추막걸리 등 양동 부추를 활용한 풍성한 먹거리가 방문객의 입맛을 사로잡는다. 또한 부추 화분 심기, 부추 다듬기 등 양동 부추를 직접 보고 만지고 경험할 수 있는 체험 프로그램과 온 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있는 다양한 놀이 프로그램도 마련돼 있어, 아이와 함께 떠나는 가족 나들이 장소로 제격이다.
