About
National Heritage Media Art Cheongju 2026 (Iron Flagpole at Yongdusa Temple Site and more) is an evening cultural event that brings to life the historical value of heritage sites in Cheongju's old downtown (the Iron Flagpole at Yongdusa Temple Site, Mangseonru Pavilion, the Apgaksu ginkgo tree and the Gate of the Chungcheong Provincial Army Command) through media art. Themed “Cheongju's Treasures Revealed by Light,” it reinterprets the symbolism of Juseong, the old name for Cheongju referring to its boat-like terrain, through modern media art, transforming the old downtown into a grand stage for a voyage in which visitors set out to discover the treasures within a thousand years of Cheongju'…
