2026 장항 1931 밤의 기행은 장항도시탐험역 일원에서 장항의 근현대 생활문화와 지역의 역사적 특성을 주제로 개최되는 야간 문화관광 축제이다. 개최일은 2026년 10월 10일, 10월 17일, 10월 30일, 10월 31일로 총 4일이며, 운영시간은 각 일자 17시부터 21시까지이다. 날짜별 테마는 음악기행, 영화기행, 다방기행, 미식기행이며, 각 테마에 맞춘 공연·전시·체험·식음 프로그램으로 구성된 행사이다. 주요 콘텐츠는 장항의 항구와 기차, 다방문화 등 근현대 생활사를 바탕으로 구성한 프로그램이다. 옛 기차역과 무궁화호 열차, 옥상, 플랫폼 등 장항도시탐험역의 공간을 활용하며, 방문객이 공연 관람과 문화체험을 통해 장항의 생활문화와 역사를 접할 수 있도록 구성한 축제이다.
