세계 섬 지역의 문화·미식·관광자원을 활용한 문화관광축제이다. 축제는 문화·관광 전시인 ‘Travel’, 미식 경험인 ‘Taste’, 문화공연 및 체험인 ‘Vibe’의 세 가지 분야로 구성된 행사이다. ‘Travel’은 참여 섬 지역의 관광자원을 소개하는 관광 홍보와 전통의상 체험, 문화체험, 사진전 등을 운영하는 문화·관광 전시 프로그램이다. ‘Taste’는 섬 지역의 셰프를 초청하여 해당 지역의 음식을 소개하고, 방문객에게 현지 음식의 시식 기회를 제공하는 미식 프로그램이다. ‘Vibe’는 섬별 문화공연과 전통놀이 등을 통해 각 지역의 문화를 관람하고 체험할 수 있도록 구성한 프로그램이다.
