붉게 물든 분홍빛 코스모스와 눈부시게 펼쳐진 하얀 메밀꽃이 들판을 수놓는 계절, ‘제20회 하동 북천 코스모스·메밀꽃 축제’가 개최된다. 2007년 첫걸음을 뗀 이래 20년 동안 수많은 관광객에게 잊지 못할 가을의 추억을 선사해 온 북천 꽃단지가 한층 더 다채롭고 풍성해진 모습으로 진행될 예정이다.흐드러지게 피어난 꽃물결을 따라 걷는 산책길, 정겨운 시골 풍경, 그리고 20주년을 맞아 준비한 다채로운 공연과 체험 행사가 많이 준비되어있다. 사랑하는 가족, 연인과 함께 아름다운 하동 북천에서 특별한 스무 번째 가을 이야기를 만들 수 있다.
