About
The Busan Fireworks Festival is Korea's premier multimedia fireworks festival on the sea, staged around Gwangalli Beach and Gwangan Bridge. It began in 2005 as a celebratory fireworks show for the APEC Summit and, now in its 21st year, is one of Busan's signature autumn cultural events. Using Gwangan Bridge's special lighting and large-scale production systems, the festival presents a massive multimedia show over the water where music and fireworks blend together. With creative staging that makes the most of Gwangalli's night sea and large-scale fireworks launches, it has become a global festival drawing huge numbers of visitors from Korea and abroad every year.
