단단단(端單團) 으뜸 단(端), 오직 하나 단(單), 우리 단(團)을 뜻하며, “오직 하나뿐인 우리의 으뜸 축제”를 의미한다. 이번 축제는 강원도의 전통문화를 중심으로 지역 예술가들에게 창작의 기회를 제공하고, 시민 문화 향유권 증진과 관광 활성화를 도모하기 위해 마련됐다. 오는 11월 26일부터 28일까지 3일간 진행되는 2026 단단단페스티벌에서는 JTBC풍류대장 1대 우승팀인 서도밴드, 강릉의 5개 어린이집 및 기관의 어린이와 청소년이 참여하는 어린이전통연희한마당, 강원의 4개 공연팀이 함께 하는 그리고 박애리, 팝핀현준, 그리고 역대 영산홍챌린지 수상팀들과 지역의 예술인들이 참여하는 영산홍콘서트까지 풍성한 공연들을 만나볼 수 있다. 또한 관람객들을 위한 경품뽑기행사도 진행된다.
