About
The 6th Busan Folk Arts Festival, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City, is a traditional culture festival that introduces Busan's intangible heritage and folk culture through performances and hands-on activities. It takes place October 24–25, 2026 at Dasom Square in Busan Citizens Park, for both residents and tourists. The festival is organized into three zones: Pungnyu Madang for performances, Somssi Madang for hands-on activities, and Janchi Madang for participatory programs. Pungnyu Madang hosts the opening ceremony, intangible heritage performances from Busan and other regions, performances by heritage training schools, global and special performances, and citizen participation programs.
