2026 국가유산 미디어아트 철원 노동당사는 한국전쟁과 분단의 역사를 간직한 철원 노동당사와 철원역사문화공원 일원을 무대로 국가유산의 역사적 가치와 장소성을 미디어아트로 재해석하는 야간 문화예술 행사이다. 행사 주제는 ‘평화비상: 기억에서 공감으로, 치유를 넘어 미래로!’이며 과거의 기억을 빛과 영상으로 표현하고 평화와 치유의 메시지를 전달하는 행사이다. 노동당사 외벽을 활용한 미디어파사드와 인터랙티브 미디어, AR 체험, 빛 조형물, AI 미디어아트, 시민 참여 콘텐츠, 공연 등이 운영되는 행사이다. 주요 콘텐츠로 세계적인 미디어 아티스트 얀 응게마의 ‘Pro PACE: 평화를 위하여’를 노동당사의 장소성과 역사에 맞게 선보이는 프로그램이 있으며, 철원의 역사와 문학, 시민의 이야기를 미디어아트와 공연으로 표현하는 프로그램도 운영되는 행사이다. 행사 기간 중 매주 화요일과 9월 25일 추석 당일은 휴무이며, 행사장에서는 문화해설사 도슨트 투어와 특별 공연, 체험 프로그램 등이 운영되는 행사이다.
